Laetrile: the statement and the struggle

The legal profession and the federal courts must turn to the medical profession for a better and more accurate understanding of the disease entities involved in the Laetrile debate. Meaningless terms such as "cancer," "terminally ill cancer patients," and so forth must be discussed and the separate disease entities must be considered in evaluating the proper role, if any, of a safe but ineffectual drug such as Laetrile.
