    Summary

    Mouse cerebellar cortex development, including cell proliferation and Purkinje cell maturation, is directly proportional to pup weight. This study tracked postnatal cerebellar growth in relation to animal weight.

    Background:

    • To investigate the relationship between postnatal cerebellar development and animal weight in mice.

    • Observations were made on C3HeB/FeJ mice at postnatal days 1, 7, 13, and 24.
    • Mice were fed a standard diet.
