    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the accuracy of the roll-over test (ROT) in screening for small-for-gestational age (SGA) infants.
    • To assess the efficacy of the ROT in screening for preeclampsia.
    • To identify additional predictive factors for SGA in patients with a positive ROT.

    Main Methods:

    • The roll-over test (ROT) was performed on normal pregnant patients between 28 and 34 weeks' gestation.
    • Correlation between ROT results and the incidence of SGA infants and preeclampsia was analyzed.
    • Maternal prepregnancy weight and weight gain patterns were examined in patients with a positive ROT.

    • The roll-over test (ROT) is a valuable and accurate screening tool for identifying pregnant patients at risk for SGA and preeclampsia.
    • Integrating maternal weight parameters with a positive ROT enhances the prediction of SGA.
    • A negative ROT suggests a lower risk profile for these adverse pregnancy outcomes.
