[Surgical management of primary peripheral nerve tumours (author's transl)]

A rational approach to the surgical treatment of peripheral nerve tumours can be determined by a knowledge of current concepts concerning their pathology and by clinical and arteriographic preoperative findings, and guided by extemporaneous histological examination results. It can be modified by the presence of metastases or associated phakomatosis.
