Abstract:
A report is presented of 141 irradiated cases of recurrent cervical carcinoma, 48 (34%) of the patients have survived for more than 2 years and 21 (15%) have survived yet more than 5 years. It is noticed, that the survival-rate is neither dependent on the localisation of recurrence, nor the beginning date nor the method of radiation therapy. It is pointed out, that the re-irradiation of primarily irradiated patients give also good results.
