[Results following Trillat's surgery in habitual shoulder dislocation]
Abstract:
Following a review of the surgical methods to correct habitual dislocation of the shoulder we report on the method and the results of the Trillat procedure. The first 13 patients operated upon have been investigated 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 years postoperatively. All remained free of recurrence; the mean loss of external rotation was 13 degrees. Subjective results showed that 11 out of 13 patients were satisfied or highly satisfied.
