Abstract:
The present available radionuclide techniques offer the possibility to obtain clinically relevant data regarding myocardial perfusion, viability and function, at the patient's bedside. The value and limitations of the various imaging techniques are at present reasonably well explored. Meaningful results can be obtained when each technique is used with an understanding of its own temp]oral sequence and accuracy.
