[Participation of sinusoidal elements in experimental iron overload. Ultrastructural and microanalytic study]
Abstract:
The participation of the sinusoidal elements in experimental iron-overloading has been studied. Ultrastructurally and microanalytically iron particles have been identified in Kupffer and Ito cells. The presence of iron particles in the Ito cells demonstrates its microphagocytic capacity.
