Abstract:
Iliofemoral thrombophlebitis is a rare disease in childhood, although it is probably more frequent than diagnosed. By means of one of our own cases the course and treatment are described. The outlook of this disease is at least as serious in childhood as in adults. The etiology and general prognosis are discussed and compared to the available literature.
