    • To compare the visual search time and detection rates of experienced versus inexperienced observers for subtle abnormalities and non-pulmonary lesions on chest radiographs.

    • One hundred selected chest radiographs with subtle abnormalities and non-pulmonary lesions were reviewed by ten observers (five experienced, five inexperienced).

    • Understanding these perceptual differences can inform training and improve diagnostic performance in radiology.
