[Places and means of patient "dechronicization" in a Paris district]

The authors report their work with chronic patients in various institutions of their sector. They point out the importance of the proper training of nurses in order to facilitate counterattitudes. The varied treatment centers allow the observation of the numerous aspects that the patient presents. Two important moments of the treatment are stated: the patient's arrival and settling down and his leaving. For the aged patients, preventive and dechronification go together.
