[Latest state of pharmacotherapy in the pulmonary heart disease (author's transl)]

With the exception of the decompensated state there is no special therapy in the pulmonary heart disease. Therapy is mainly directed to the original lung disease. Regarding the frequency of the ventilative-hypoxic type of the cor pulmonale chronicum the main thing of this lecture is the improvement of oxygen supply and thereby the lowering of pulmonary artery pressure pathologically raised by drug-induced bronchial dilatation.
