Abstract:
Because of acute pancreatitis 377 patients were admitted to our hospital. 245 were treated conservatively, 132 underwent surgery. 19 patients of the operative group came to death. By improved intensive care, exact timing of the operation and optimal definition of the extent of operation the results can be improved.
