[Immune response of splenectomised patients to tetatoxoid - booster injection (author's transl)]
17 patients were splenectomised for abdominal trauma. In order to evaluate the possible influence which the removal of the spleen may exert on the immune response of these patients their response to Tetatoxoid was tested. Before the injection all these patients had already protective levels of tetanus-antitoxin and all of them responded to the booster-injection like normal persons.
