[Contractility of the uterus in normal pregnancy (author's transl)]
Cardiotocography was applied to 150 pregnant women for antenatal follow-up, between the 24th week of pregnancy and delivery. Pregnancy amounted to 38 weeks or more in all cases. - The uterine contractions recorded from 32 cases were of high frequency and had to be regarded as abnormal, against the background of literature. Yet, premature labour did not occur to any of those 32 women.
