[The evaluation of counter-immunoelectrophoresis and passive haemagglutination tests for HB2Ag (author's transl)]

Sera from 277 patients with hepatitis hospitalized in the Clinic of Infectious Diseases of Ankara Medical School and their 36 relatives were examined for HbsAg by counter-immunoelectrophoresis and passive haemagglutination tests. It was concluded that passive haemagglutination test is cheaper and more sensitive than counter-immunelectrophoresis.
