[Retrocaval ureter. Contribution of a case]
Archivos Espanoles De Urologia
|July 1, 1980
Abstract:
The authors present a case of retrocave ureter studied by means of cavography associated with ascending pyelography. These explorations are considered to be final for the diagnosis, in view of the deficiencies sometimes revealed by urography and ascending pyelography separately and the frequent anomalies of the vena cava. In this case, they abstained from the treatment, which is usually surgical, at the patient's suggestion and because there was a combination of favourable circumstances for making this decision.
