Abstract:
Sodum, potassium, calcium and ascorbic acid level in blood of 62 elderly persons (34 males and 28 females) aged between 45 to 80 years of age were determined and compared with the blood levels of 40 (20 males and 20 females) young persons aged between 25 to 38 years of age. No significant difference was observed in the blood levels of elderly males and females or between elderly persons and young persons.
