Golf injuries to the eye are uncommon but can be severe. While ruptured globes have a poor prognosis, blunt eye trauma from golf without rupture offers a better visual outcome.

Golf-related ocular injuries represent a small but significant portion of sports-related eye trauma.
These injuries can range from blunt contusions to severe globe ruptures.

To review the incidence and outcomes of golf-related ocular injuries.

A retrospective review of sports-related trauma cases was conducted over an 8-year period.
