What constitutes a School Readiness examination? The component parts
Abstract:
The School Readiness medical examination is probably the single most important examination a child has outside of the infancy period. This examination helps to determine whether or not the child is physically, emotionally and intellectually ready to handle a more structured, academic environment. The physician should devote enough time and effort to do a thorough evaluation. The physician also, should be appropriately compensated for this medical evaluation based upon time, training, experience, and length of discussion with the family.
