[Immunohistochemical study of 38 cases of primary ocular adnexa malignant lymphomas]

Thirty-eight cases of primary ocular adnexa malignant lymphomas were studied with immunohistochemical techniques. Positive results were noted in 14 cases of kappa light chain staining, 8 cases of lambda staining and 1 case of centroblastic lymphoma lambda staining. In 35 cases of L26 staining, positive results were observed, which showed that 92.1% of the lymphomas were of B cell origin whereas those of T cell origin were rare. The value of immunohistochemical methods in diagnosis and differential diagnosis as well as their significance for clinical treatment and prognosis were commented.
