Management of anxiety states

Anxiety states affect millions of people in the UK and as such constitute a major public health problem. Specialist mental health nurses can provide very effective treatments for a range of some of the most severe of these conditions. However, because of the prevalence of anxiety, all nurses should know something of their nature and management.
