Abstract:
The study with isotopes of the hypertensive cardiopathy permits to value the systolic and diastolic dysfunction, and the myocardial ischemia. It is accomplished by means of the equilibrium ventriculography, employing erythrocytes marked with 99mTc. Would be indicated in those cases in which it would not be possible a good definition of the echocardiographic image. The study of the images obtained with 201T1, at rest and in exercise, permit to evaluate the myocardial ischemia and coronary reserve, in hypertensive patients with normal epicardial coronary arteries.
