Abstract:
Extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (EMC) is a malignant soft tissue tumor which typically presents as an enlarging mass in an extremity. In this location it is amenable to sampling and diagnosis by fine-needle aspiration biopsy. We present our experience with three cases of EMC and discuss the differential diagnosis of myxoid soft tissue tumors.
