Differential diagnosis of plantar neuromas: a preliminary report

Abstract:
A discussion has been presented concerning etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of plantar neuromas. The surgeon should, at all times, attempt to ascertain the particular biomechanical fault which predisposed the patient to develop a neuroma, and he should attempt to correct or accommodate the underlying pathology.
