Abstract:
Changes are occurring in our approach to the management of patients with pneumonia due to changes in our understanding of the pathogenesis of pneumonia, changes in the causative pathogens, and changes in the investigative techniques and therapies available. This article reviews the management of patients with pneumonia, highlighting some of these areas.
