Summary

This study developed a novel periodontal regeneration therapy combining barrier membranes, platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB), and citric acid-conditioned root surfaces. The new therapy effectively regenerated Class III furcation defects in dogs without ankylosis or root resorption.
