Abstract:
Clinical features of laryngeal amyloidosis may suggest an erroneous diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. The immunohistochemical findings of monoclonal IgA-kappa positive plasma cells, together with kappa chain positive amyloid blocks suggest the definition of the present care as a localized plasmacytoma arising in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue.
