Abstract:
Psychological care is hard to measure in terms of its practical effect upon the patient. Nursing priorities still appear to lie in 'getting the work done'. In order to provide a high level of psychological care for patients, a support system must be available for nurses. Support networks to evaluate and discuss care may provide the avenues through which to explore the effect emotional care has on patients.
