Nurse-midwives and the challenge of the information age

Rapid access to meaningful information is a cornerstone to effective decision-making in the Information Age. Computers are the tools for efficient and effective collection and analysis of data. As we enter an era of monumental change in the delivery of health care, our challenge as nurse-midwives is to use computer technology to support our goals and philosophy.
