How nurses react to and cope with the uncertainty of unfamiliar technology: validation for continuing education

Technological developments in healthcare continue, and nurses working in acute health care settings are assailed with new techniques. The focus of this qualitative study is methods nurses employ to stay current with new technological procedures. This article features nurses' verbatim responses regarding their use of technology and the facilitative role of continuing education.
