[Colonic esophagoplasty in the treatment of postburn esophageal stricture]
Abstract:
In patients aged from 2.5 to 67 years 56 esophagoplasties were done. The authors prefer the left half of the colon application with the blood supply through the middle colonic artery and with antiperistaltic transplant position. In 53 of 56 patients the transplant was conducted to the neck in retrosternal tunnel. General mortality is 7.1%. Literary data and own views on the problem of possible esophageal malignancy origin in the late period after burn occurrence, the surgical tactics versions are adduced.
