[Closed injuries of the liver]

The results of diagnosis and treatment of 42 patients with the closed hepatic injury are analysed. Instrumental diagnosis methods are the most informative ones in the early exposure. Laparoscopy application is preferable to reveal the blood in abdominal cavity, to determine the diagnosis, localization and degree of hepatic injury, the presence of continuing bleeding and the effused blood volume. The operation magnitude was determined individually. Three (7.1%) patients have died.
