Measuring the effects of a self-scheduling committee

A study is taken to measure the effects of a self-scheduling committee on staff members. Staff involved not only nurses, but also those who did not directly engage in patient care; hours were tailored specifically for their unit. Administrative and organizational guidelines, problems and evaluation results are given.
