Sclerosing mediastinitis is a rare fibrotic condition. While associated with tuberculosis, malignancy, and autoimmune diseases, prognosis is good, especially without malignancy.

  • It is associated with prior tuberculosis, mediastinal malignancy, and autoimmune diseases.
  • The prognosis is excellent for patients without underlying malignancy.
