[Clinical veterinary medicine in Germany--quo vadis?]

The project to reorganize the standards for the veterinary study in Germany deviates considerably from the former regulations and those devised by the Association of German Veterinary Faculties. The standards will result in significant effects on the future development of the German veterinary profession. For the clinical education a distinct change to the worse will be expected with the consequence of a diminished qualification of the following generations of German veterinarians compared with the European and American countries.
