[Influence of weight mass on the sinus node automatic function in pregnancy]

The study reports 31 per cent of cases with disturbances of cardiac automatic activity in the form of sinus tachycardia, including 3% of cases with sporadic extrasystoles arising in the right ventricle. In terms of the stage of pregnancy, there were 9 cases, i.e. 29 per cent of all tachycardias, between 12 and 24 weeks, and 22 cases, i.e. 71 per cent, between 25 and 40 weeks. In order to better asses the link existing between the progression of pregnancy expressed by its weight factor (in kg) and the onset of sinus tachycardia expressed by the RR interval, the correlation coefficient r +/- mr was calculated, the value being positive and statistically significant for the period between 25 and 40 weeks. This was r +/- mr = +0.611 +/- 0.137 and (r/mr) = 4.460 > 3. Central values of the Makrouz index were less than 2 and were not informative.
