Summary

Coke oven workers showed significant cytogenetic damage from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) exposure, unlike graphite electrode workers. Sister chromatid exchange (SCE) and high-frequency interphase cells (HFC) were more sensitive biomarkers than micronuclei (MN) for PAH exposure.
