Abstract:
The Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome is a rare condition of unknown etiopathogenesis. This syndrome is characterized by a triad of recurrent orofacial edema, recurrent facial palsy, and fissured tongue. In this paper two patients with Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome are reported. Also the clinicopathologic aspects and diagnostic problems of this rare disease are discussed.
