Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the survival rates and prognostic factors for primary malignant tumors of the submandibular region.
To analyze the efficacy of surgical and combined therapeutic approaches.
To identify key pathological features influencing patient outcomes.

Main Methods:

Retrospective analysis of 65 patients treated between 1959 and 1989.
Categorization of tumors by histology: adenoid cystic carcinoma, malignant mixed tumor, adenoid carcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
Evaluation of surgical techniques (excision, dissection) and combined therapy based on tumor characteristics (invasion, metastasis).
