[Method of treatment of pancreatic stump after its resection]

Based on anatomical studies and clinical observations the authors concluded that a mechanic suture and subsequent closure of the pancreatic stump with an absominal graft covering the gland, or that procured from the transverse colon mesentery seemed to be an optimum procedure in pancreatic resection.
