[Modification of pyrimidine nucleosides using nicotinic acid derivatives]

Researchers synthesized novel nicotinoyl derivatives of nucleosides, including 2'-deoxyuridine and 6-azauridine. Some derivatives, like 3',5'-di-O-nicotinoyl-2'-deoxyuridine, demonstrated significant cytotoxicity against CaOv cancer cells in vitro.
