Summary

Early vitrectomy (surgical removal of vitreous humor) can significantly improve vision and reduce inflammation in children with intermediate uveitis (inflammation inside the eye). This surgical approach offers a safer alternative to long-term immunosuppression, minimizing severe side effects.
