Abstract:
Ten patients with lymphoceles after kidney transplantation are reported. Seven were treated with intraperitoneal drainage of the lymphocele, performed through a midline incision laparotomy. The postoperative course was uneventful, symptoms disappeared within 1 week. We consider this as the treatment of choice when lymphoceles develop after renal transplantation.
