Abstract:
The introduction of an automated ramified system of questionnaire-based surveys developed at the Institute and tested at large plants and factories of the city has both noticeably improved the standards of cancer-control screening campaigns and has cut their costs. The study was concerned with evaluation of the effectiveness of identification of cancer pathology of two major localizations--gastrointestinal tract (21,779) and mammary gland (32,334).
