Abstract:
Doppler ultrasound and photoplethysmography for the diagnosis of thoracic outlet syndrome was described in this article. There were 14 cases clinically confirmed, 16 cases highly suspected, and 10 cases of normal control. The positive rates were 92% (13/14), 50% (8/16) and 0% (0/10) respectively. The results showed remarkably consistent with the clinical diagnosis. This method has provided a reliable objective evidence for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this condition.
