Osteochondroma of the subtalar joint
1Waco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Podiatric Medicine Residency Training Program, TX 76711.
Abstract:
Osteochondromas are benign, cartilage-capped, bone tumors that are relatively painless. At times, however, they may restrict normal biomechanical foot function and significantly reduce the activity level of the patient. A detailed discussion of this lesion, along with a case report of a subtalar joint osteochondroma are presented.
