[Therapy of acute Guillain-Barré syndrome. A national multicenter study]

Current treatment concepts in Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) are discussed, followed by a call for participation in a randomized multicenter trial in GBS. This study compares intravenous immune globulin, plasma exchange, and selective adsorption. The study is currently underway.
