Summary

A teenage patient experienced an allergic reaction to orthodontic bonding agents. Switching to orthodontic bands and a different cement resolved the issue, enabling continued treatment.

  • Replacement of the bonded brackets with stainless steel orthodontic bands cemented using Poly F Zinc polycarboxylate cement successfully managed the allergic reaction.
