In 90 patients suffering from SAH and 260 controls certain clinical parameters were analysed to find risk factors in subarachnoid haemorrhage. In conclusion, it was statistically documented that among many known risk factors of arteriosclerosis only hypertension and heavy smoking considerably increased the risk of SAH in the analysed group of patients.
